Small and beautiful

I seem to be in the land that migraines forgot but cluster headaches relish at the moment.  With both kids out of the house today I have pretty much slept most of it, but I did have a lucid hour to eat and relax whilst trying to come back to the land of the living before this afternoons school run hit.   While relaxing I decided to have a play in my mini art journal.

The book I'm using is a small moleskine sketchbook which measures 14 x 9 cm.  Its got 80 pages in it apparently, at least half of which have now got paint on them. This is the first page that is now ready to journal on.

I think this could well be one of my favourite pages yet and I thoroughly loved working on a small scale.

Ooh it's lovely - that and the moleskine combination make it perfect for me! Hope you get back to 100% land of living soon, poor you.

Lovely page, and I love the idea of a small moleskine book, I've been wanting to try art journaling but find the bigger pages a bit daunting. You've inspired me to get going with a small book :D hope your head is better soon

Wow - I'm so inspired after seeing that. Sure I've got one of those little books somewhere... Where was the little girl image from? Sure I've seen her on a postcard somewhere?
It's totally beautiful and almost too sweet to journal on :-)
ps. Hope you feel better soon x

This is really sweet - love the colours and designs you've used. I can see the attraction of a little journal perhaps for days when time is short. Hope your headaches improve - I managed to grow out of mine.
