A couple of weeks ago Rosie and I went shopping for some new shorts for Jamie, and being girls we also took a peep at some shoes. Rosie only has little leather baseball type shoes and really could do with some sandals of some description. Enter Next, and these fabulous flip flops. As soon as she saw them she wanted them. It’s all I can do now to stop her sleeping in them.

It'll stick
but only if the wind blows!

I've had a copy of this photo of Rosie pinned to the wall by the PC for ages and keep meaning to scrap it, so with a the kids free day disappearing faster than I care for, I printed out a copy and did a fast scrap. When I say fast it actually took me just over an hour.
Lots of distressing and inking going on, some Maya Road pins and an idea pinched from the extremely talented Rachael - a little piece of lace tucked behind a rip in the paper (hers is much nicer though).
Right, that's it from me for today. I've been a right little blogger the last few days. There will probably be tumbleweed rolling by next time you visit!
Thanks for stopping by.

Funny face day
Rosie has a thing about pulling funny faces, except it's not really faces but face. She shouts "funny face" and promptly pulls her mouth wide with her fingers. This she finds wildly amusing, and so do I and anyone else around at the time. Today she asked me to take pictures of her doing a funny face, who am I to say no.
I know it's not the sharpest shot in the world, but I think that that is partly down to me laughing at her and to her inability to keep still as she was trying to pull the widest mouth she could manage. When she's old enough to understand I will be telling her the wind will change and she'll stick like that! LOL.

365 #233
I'm back and I'm now going to start playing catch up with some 365 photo's.
I love little feet and when Mummy was running round like a loon last Friday, Daddy was chatting with Rosie. As I walked by I saw this and then made a mad dash for my camera to get of a shot of her sitting on her feet. I realised afterwards it was over exposed but somehow that seems to add to the shot (and detract from the grotty yet to be vacuumed carpet).

Sleeping peacefully
A 365 layout
Back in June I took a photographs of one of Rosie tantrums for my photo of the day. I've chosen two of them and scrapped them. I didn't want to mention at "t" word, so the title come journalling reads, "not every day is good when you are 2"
Thanks for looking!

Bad 365'er...
I'm very proud to have lasted this long with this project, but in the last couple of weeks I have, for one reason and another, let things slide. I promised myself that things would return to normal (soon) and I hope that's still the case but at the moment I haven't quite got the energy and other things, namely the kids need me more. Either way, I have still taken some photo's so thought I really should make the effort to share them with you.
The first photo (above) was taken on Monday of Jamie & Rosie looking for a tiny spider we spotted on the lawn.
Below - new stash! Phwoar.... hey can you smell those thickers? LOL. I love the new small ones "Rockabye". I'm hoping this little lot will kick start my scrapping as well.
And finally some new Jenni Bowlin goodies. I loved the smiley face tickets when I saw them and immediately thought of the photo of Rosie mid tantrum for the sad face ticket.
I hope to be back soon but I have a lot going on at the moment so don't abandon me just yet!
Thanks for looking, I really do appreciate you visiting me and leaving comments.

Today has been interesting. Having been at nursery this morning, and having had a nap for an hour and a half, Rosie has spent most of the remaining time reminding me that she is now two and is fully into the terrible two's. Tantrums galore today. You may think I'm a terrible Mother for whipping out the camera, but when it's been the main part of my day - how could I not record it. One things for sure, she should sleep well tonight. Poor tike must be exhausted by now.

Footie anyone?
Such a lovely sunny day - so why waste it indoors. Well, I didn't waste it, I scrapped. I did scrap outdoor photo's though in my defense.
This LO is of Jamie and Rosie playing football in the garden a couple of weeks ago. I've used the scrapagogo April Showers kit, along with a few bits from past kits, stash and of course my new threads, flairs and a journaling card.
TFL!

365 #105

This week is the first module for CJ's People Imagery course. After loving Painting with Light I just had to give this one a go. So, for today, may I present my final selection of photo's taken of Rosie. I've spent half the day trying to get them, then go through them (200 shots in all), so it seemed fitting that this was also my 365 photo.

365 #8 and a diffferent girl
365 #8, something else from my home, but what? Not its not a huge ball of string that I have cunningly lit, but a light shade with the light switched on which give it a lovely warm glow.
As you can see Rosie's chicken pox have really taken hold now. Her scalp is absolutely full of spots and she's starting to show signs that it's bothering her.

365 #6
I was planning to go out later today, but as Rosie has now got chicken pox I'm hunting for photo's to take at home. Having taken about 30 pictures this morning I have decided that I have two for today. Both have been taken on macro and are straight from the camera.
The first one, above, is of Rosie just before she went for a morning nap. I think this must be one of the best photo's I have ever taken of her. It's going to find it's way into a frame at some point.
The picture below, I suppose is my true 365 picture of some of the pens I use for scrapbooking.
