When I was a child I loved looking through my Nan's button tin. Now I have my own button collection, although they are not salvaged ones as most of my Nan's were. These few are the exception to that as they are freshly "picked" from some of Rosie's tops that are now too small for her. I doubt they will ever be on clothing again, more likely to end up on a layout.

I've been collecting buttons all my life. I should never, ever need to buy another one (but I do!)
me too - I used to love going through my grandmas button collection. Lovely photo - I took a similar one last week for the close up assignment for PWL. I should have cheated and used it instead of the dull one I have taken today!
